En un ránking que mide la igualdad en el acceso y las oportunidades en trabajo, salud, educación y cargos políticos, Argentina figura en el puesto 24 sobre 130 países. Esto la deja primera en América. Un índice del Foro Económico Mundial (FEM) que clasifica la igualdad de género en 130 países del mundo ubica a la Argentina en la posición 24, nueve lugares por encima que el año pasado y primera en el continente americano. En el primer informe, que se hizo en el año 2006, el país estaba en el puesto 41.Cuba, Estados Unidos, Bélgica, Austria y Canadá son algunos de los países que aparecen por debajo de Argentina en este "Informe Global de Disparidad entre Géneros 2008 (*)". Arriba, los países nórdicos: Noruega en primer lugar, Finlandia en el segundo, Suecia en el tercero, Islandia en el cuarto. La cola es ocupada por los países musulmanes, en concreto, Yemen ocupa el puesto 130; Arabia Saudí, el 128; Pakistán, el 127; Marruecos, el 125; Egipto, el 124, y Turquía, el 123.

Afortunadamente las Mujeres vienen ganando en América Latina.
Yo ví la Película "Iron Jawed Angels" acerca de las Sufragettes y el Voto Femenino. Y esto me ha hecho pensar por horas y horas. No solo sobre lo femenino, sinó sobre otras luchas, Por las Mujeres Asesinadas, Religiones, Extremas contra la Mujer, Minorías en desventaja, Razas Oprimidas, etc ...

Gather.com is a wonderful site of Forums, Conversations and Discussions, People do not seem to be the meannest Racists or Lowest Scum.

1) Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi ( I admire and Respect this Lady )
2) "The race card is the final hiding place of a liberal that can't continue a debate based on it's merits. I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, it does, but the Democrats manipulate it to further their agenda."
3) Furious Attacks against Wanda Sykes for Kidney of Mr Rush Limbaugh. ( I love and admire Wanda ).
4) "I don't have a problem with the color of Obama's skin, I have a problem with the thinness of it." -- Dennis Miller at Bill O'Reilly's comedy show.
5)"As far as you pretty much castigating the America youth as following sheep, it is what I would expect from a typical liberal."
I am a humble ant and my "Bag of Tricks" is certainly very limited. I am not the smartest follower and admirer of Mr Obama and the Democratic Party. I enjoy laughing at fools, but I consider that this fight is very uneven, many against one.

By the way. I still think that Mr Obama has gas for many years. He will be a Great President.
